Mindful Body Therapy & Wellness offers Meal Support Sessions, as well as specialized groups for CBT, DBT, Art Therapy, and other targeted support groups. Our group schedule rotates on an ongoing basis- check back for updates, and see below for the current offerings. We hope to catch you in a group soon!
Creative Self-Care for Therapists (Mondays at 12pm EST, virtual)
Despite what the title suggests, this drop-in style group is open to anyone in the mental health or helping professions – not just therapists! This includes (but is not limited to) therapists and clinicians of all kinds, psychologists, psychiatrists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, and speech language pathologists! So often in the helping professionals, especially those in mental health, providers put their own wants and needs on the backburner to best support their clients and patients. As we are facing a critical mental health crisis in this country, we want to provide a space for helpers to turn their care and concern towards themselves using art and expressive therapies. After all, you can’t pour from an empty cup!
Led by art therapist Liz Van Buren, ATR-BC, this group is offered every Monday at noon via Zoom, so come as sporadically or as often as you are able!
Heal With Yoga (Mondays May 22-July 24, 7:15-8:30pm EST, Project Soul Yoga in Salem, NH)
This 8-week group cycle weaves trauma-informed yoga flows and reflective group discussions to process and strengthen our relationship with our bodies. Open to all individuals at any stage of their journey towards body acceptance – that includes individuals with diagnosed eating disorders, those in recovery, individuals with body image struggles, or anyone curious about their relationship with their own bodies. For individuals with active or recovering eating disorders, a doctor’s approval is required.
